Of Love and Other Demons: Lina Andonovska Fundraising Concert for Many Hands International

Flautist Lina Andonovska performs music by Dean, Piazzolla and Debussy in a spicy program that gains its title after Gabriel Garcia Marquez’ novel Of Love and Other Demons. Inspired by her travels in Timor-Leste, Lina teams up with acclaimed musicians Dan McKay (guitar), Jacinta Dennett (harp), Charlotte Burbrook de Vere (viola) and Stefan Cassomenos (piano) to raise money for Many Hands International's Lospalos Centre for Traditional and Contemporary Arts and Culture Project in Timor-Leste.

About Lina Andonovska

Lina divides her time between the UK and Australia; she is currently undertaking an ArtStart, Arts Skills and Development grant project funded by the Australia Council and the Ian Potter Foundation to study and perform in the UK. In addition to her love of classical music performance, Lina’s open-mindedness and versatility as a musician enable her to feel comfortably at ease when performing in an impressive range of musical styles. In addition to an active chamber music and solo career, Lina Andonovska frequently plays with Australia’s major orchestras including the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and Orchestra Victoria.
